Handyperson service

We offer a handyperson service to help our more vulnerable residents including the elderly, single parents with young children, disabled and residents with support needs with small jobs that are not part of PA Housing's repair responsibilities.

Typical examples of jobs that can be done are:

  • Putting together flat pack furniture
  • Fitting shelves
  • Hanging pictures
  • Fixing curtain rails and poles
  • Fitting bathroom accessories

Our handyperson service is also available to new residents by offering up to four hours of the handy person’s time during the first six months of the tenancy to assist with minor works as listed above. The handy person will carry out works to a high standard and treat you and your home with the utmost respect.

The handyperson team

Don't just take our word for it, here's what you've been saying about the service...

Extraordinarily good, absolutely thrilled and a very nice man, he’s a real gem.
Really pleased, it’s the little things in life that makes life much easier - thank you very much.
No mess, he even borrowed my dustpan and brush to clean up. I would recommend him to anyone.
