Resident Inspectors and Resident Council

A fantastic team of Resident Inspectors and the Resident Council work with PA Housing to inspect and examine the services provided to you.

We are proud of the fantastic work our Resident Inspectors and Resident Council do to help regulate and ensure improvements to our services are made for residents. Why not get involved and join a winning team?

We were awarded the 'Excellence in Co-regulation' award at the 2015 TPAS Southern Region Awards.  We are very proud to have been awarded the TPAS National awards for Co-regulation in July 2015.

The Resident Inspectors

The teams have looked at 12 different services including: grounds maintenance, cleaning, anti-social behaviour and income recovery.  We have a regular training programme, which gives residents full support in getting involved.

Being an Inspector is a great way to increase your skills and knowledge - a lot of what you learn and do can help you to get a job, increase your volunteering, and help you take the next steps to study. 

We have a great team of inspectors but are always looking for new members.  Our timetable is very flexible and if you would like to get involved please contact the Resident Involvement Team.

The Resident Council

The Resident Council is made up of up to 15 PA Housing Residents and holds the vital role of working with Managers and the Board of Trustees to monitor the quality of the services provided to residents alongside resident satisfaction with those services.

Members of the Council also take part in Scrutiny and manage the work of the Resident Inspectors. They have the responsibility of reporting their findings, and that of the Inspectors, to the Board.   Following the scrutiny process, they also monitor the actions committed to by the Group to improve services.

From another organisation? Like what you hear? We can work with you!

We like to work with other organisations as we believe we both learn from this process.  We have a very ad-hoc group (both staff and residents) that meets 2-3 times a year. If you would like to join us please contact us.
